Solace Ridge Residence

Solace Ridge Residence is conceived as a contemporary retreat that dissolves the boundary between architecture and landscape. Strong horizontal planes anchor the home to its terrain, while expansive glazing frames the surrounding hills and sunset sky. The design celebrates indoor-outdoor living, where water, light, and structure interact to create a calm yet refined atmosphere.

A restrained palette of smooth stucco, natural stone, and dark metal accents establishes contrast and depth. Floor-to-ceiling glass enhances transparency and natural light, while large-format exterior pavers extend interior surfaces outward, reinforcing spatial continuity. The reflective pool surface acts as a material element itself, amplifying sky tones and architectural geometry.

The project began with site orientation, maximizing views and sunset exposure while preserving privacy. Massing was developed through low horizontal volumes that respond to the terrain rather than dominate it. Exterior living areas were integrated early in the design phase, ensuring seamless circulation between interior spaces and outdoor amenities. Lighting, water features, and material transitions were carefully calibrated to elevate the residence from daytime serenity to evening sophistication.
