Map Construction

The Map Construction Custom Residence is conceived as a contemporary interpretation of traditional architectural language. The design blends handcrafted detailing, layered façades, and intimate balconies to create a home that feels rooted, warm, and culturally grounded while maintaining modern functionality.

Natural stone masonry, textured stucco, exposed wood beams, and terracotta roof accents define the exterior palette. Black-framed windows introduce a subtle contemporary contrast, while wood railings and structural detailing reinforce the artisanal character of the home. The material composition emphasizes durability, texture, and regional identity.

The project began with a focus on proportion and façade articulation, balancing traditional references with modern construction techniques. Structural framing and masonry were carefully coordinated to allow for detailed wood elements and balcony projections. The construction phase prioritized craftsmanship, ensuring material transitions and façade layering preserved the custom character envisioned from the outset.
